Dressage Trainer in PA

Meet Jessie Paine

USDF Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalist and USDF Certified

Horses became not only my fun after-school activity, but my emotional lifeline after losing my mother when I was 11. I fell in love with dressage because I truly believe it can benefit every horse and rider and elevate their bond.

Before I found my home as a dressage trainer in PA, I grew up in Newfoundland, Canada and moved to the United States in 2001. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts, where I first started training with Christopher Hickey, to whom I owe the bulk of my dressage education. I graduated from Temple Law School in 2011 and practiced law for a few years. It may be cliché, but life is short, so I made the big, scary decision to resign and focus full time on my passion: horses and dressage!

I've been "animal crazy" my entire life.

A little about me...

In 2015, JP Dressage LLC was established in Ohio where I had a lot of dedicated students and wonderful training horses. Opportunities eventually led my horses and me to North Carolina, then Wellington, FL year-round where I had the amazing opportunity to train with Tuny Page and Ali Brock.

In 2021, I moved to beautiful Lancaster County, PA, and became Head Trainer at Kynynmont Connemaras LLC to work for Pam Liddell. I have moved around a lot, but to me, home is where the horses are!

We lost Pam in February of 2024 after a courageous and long battle with cancer. I consider myself the steward of her horses and ponies she so carefully bred. Having found almost all of the Kynynmont Kids new homes, Kynynmont Farm is now home to my dressage training and sales business. We do it all -  from ponies, to Spanish horses, to Warmbloods. From Western Dressage to FEI, I love joining riders on their dressage journey.  It's wonderful to share the state of the art facility with my students and clients.
