Donna Phoebe KF, known as Fancy in the barn, is a very sweet and gentle mare looking for her person. She’s a 2016 model standing at 16.1 and wears shoes. Fancy holds her Certificate of Pedigree with the American Hanoverian Society. She’s by the highly regarded stallion Don Nobless and out of Rachael, an NRPS mare by R.Johnson (KWPN) and out of a Daynhart (KWPN) mare.

Fancy has three correct gaits: a great walk, a floaty trot and a bounding canter. 

She successfully showed Training Level in 2024 at Recognized competition, scoring up to 69%. This winter (2025), with the pressure off to horse show, we were able to peel back the layers and really help Fancy get a better foundation in her training and she is absolutely blossoming. Fancy is schooling First Level and has recently started playing with both leg yields and walk to canter transitions.

Fancy loves to work in the outdoor arena and go on trail rides solo and with friends. Fancy needs a rider who will give her confidence and can help Fancy when she gets a bit tense. She doesn't do anything naughty but she can internalize tension and would do best with a rider who responds with a gentle leg and calm voice, not a clamped leg and an "oh shit" grip on the mouth!

Fancy loves her turnout time with her girlfriends and is fine on overnight or day turnout. She’s also great to hack around the farm, does hillwork, and is great lunging and long lining. Due to her being behind in training, this gorgeous mare is priced competitively at $30, 000 (as of 3/21/25).
