Kynynmont Pecan is a 2018 Purebred Connemara mare by Kynynmont Aidan McVai and out of Greystone Anne Laurella (by *Rosenaharley Laurens out of Hideaway’s Smitheranne).

Standing at 13.1h with a generous barrel and sturdy confirmation, Pecan can easily accommodate an adult rider (rider in video is 5’7”) but would also make a terrific kid’s pony! She shows a lot of aptitude for dressage but also has been lightly started over fences and loves it. Check out Pecan's jumping video here! 

Pecan is perfect for you if you want a ride that’s not too physical – she is light in the bridle, self motivated to go forward, and has a very comfortable trot to sit. She’s very sensible, is not spooky, and is great to hack around the property alone or with friends.

Pecan is very quickly learning all the basics that will lead to fancy – seeking the contact over the back, sitting behind to lift her shoulders, and shows promise for flashy medium trots! Currently showing training level at schooling shows and dabbling in jumping!

Don’t let her size fool you – while Pecan would be an excellent pony for a Junior, we think she’s got the right qualities to be a perfect dance partner for an amateur rider who wants a pony they can truly enjoy, build confidence on, and grow with. Barefoot, (very!) easy keeper, loads great, and works off property like a seasoned pro!
